Quilt is almost finished, pictures of it in use in my (hopefully) lovely (and reorganized) bedroom to follow shortly.

Here's my quilt (almost) completely laid out! I am presently assembling the face, then must decided on backing and binding fabric. Quite thrilled with the results!

One more RED edition, quote reads, "Who wants a dingy woman? We are expected to be pretty and well dressed till we drop..."

I think I shall treat myself to a few tasty, arty, booky treats.

I used to be a draw-er

I've never been passionate about drawing, but always been very proud of my abilities. Going through some old artwork has made me feel very much that I should get back to drawing and utilize my talents. Here are some selections of which I am quite proud! My apologies for the crummy photos...

my first foray into quilting...

So, for my first foray into quilting i am making kaffe fassett's pink flags patchwork quilt. the layout in the last picture shows a general idea of what it will look like, the open spaces will be filled in with solid triangles in two different monochromatic blue prints. im very excited, what color thread do you think i should quilt it with, dear readers?
